This One-of-a-Kind Crystal Shop is Montclair’s Hidden Gem - Literally

Hidden in plain sight, Blu Lotus is located on Church Street, right next door to Raymond’s and The Montclair Grill. Created in 1995 by Craig Sloan and his late business partner and friend Heidi Dommasch, the shop started as New Dimensions. Craig had little money but a big dream, investing in whatever he could to improve the shop. Throughout the years, Craig and his partner, Joe Longo, created a place where crystal connoisseurs could be seen, and strangers could learn about the history and healing crystals offered.

Twenty-seven years later, Blu Lotus provides psychic readings, yoga, massage therapy, and more.

Blu Lotus is known for its array of sage, crystal bracelets, and essential oils. Also offering handmade soaps and aromatherapy, the shop has plenty of gift potential this holiday season. The most popular is the Rose Quartz bracelet, the stone of love, and the white sage, meant to clear any bad energy out of the intended space. Not only does Blu Lotus offer bracelets and full-sized crystals, but they also offer singular, more affordable stones for newcomers. The best way to get the Blu Lotus experience is to pick up a crystal, candle, and sage to bring peace and harmony into your home. Whether you believe in crystal properties or not, there’s no harm in adding something positive to your life.

While there are other crystal shops in the area, Blu Lotus goes the extra mile. There are ongoing classes and events year-round. On Sunday, November 6th, join Reiki Master Lisa Batitto and Billy Camal for the Full-Moon circle. They’ll meditate, conduct a seance, and offer spiritual healing for all who attend.
